Scott and the band were a great choice for our 40th wedding anniversary event. There are two sides to getting the right band, the planning to get timings and content right as well as logistics, flexibility and entertainment value. Scott and the band were excellent at each of these. Scott's quiet calm professional manner took the stress out of the event and his ability to 'read' the crowd was excellent. Members of the band engaged with our guests and worked their magic to have everyone up dancing despite the 'left feet' and 'herding cats' challenge and built us up nicely to the more challenging dances we all enjoyed. We had a superb time and numerous guests commented on how good the band were.

Scott's ceilidh is a fantastic experience! The music is great and the calling is clear, fun & witty. We really appreciated the short breaks between dances giving people time to catch their breath and re-group. I would certainly recommend the band to anyone. Thank for a great evening!

Just a short note to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding at Portavadie. The ceilidh added a unique and really fun element to the party and really helped get everybody up and into the spirit of things especially for those south of the border.

They were wonderful for our wedding. We let them know beforehand we would have a lot of guests who had never ceilidhed before and they adjusted the calling, dance order and gaps between dances brilliantly to accomodate this. Couldn't recommend them enough!
